For offer: Hardback copy of "America as a Civilization", by Max Lerner; pub. by Simon Schuster, Inc., copyright page: 1957 by author, stated 6th printing. The boards/spine are in good condition, showing some fading on front board, rear board, lower right corner bumped; boards are light blue, spine is dark blue with red area and gilted gold print inside the red; front board has gold gilted printing, I could find no torn/ripped pages, the binding is tight, overall this is a clean book. 1036 pages. Book has a dj which is in poor to fair condition showing lots of wear on edges. The item was obtained at an estate sale in upperstate NY within the last couple of weeks..

@-Please pay within 7 days of close of auction; if paying by money order/cashiers check, please allow sufficient time for arrival on the east coast..
@- I do offer combined shipping whenever possible to save you the buyer money. The items must end within 7 days of each other. If the Buy it Now option is available and you use it, please pay for the items and I will refund the discount back to you.
@- Insurance: is optional at the exact USPS rate per value; plese take advantage of this, especially if the item is fragile/breakable. I cannot be held liable for carrier mishaps.
@- The vast majority of items offered are obtained at Estate sales/auctiions in the upper New York area. I do tend to rely on the auctiioneer's discription from time to time if the item is not marked/stamped and cannot be located through research.
@- Paypal, money orders/cashiers checks are the only accepted methods of payment at this time, sorry, no personal checks.
