ON THE ART OF FIXING A SHADOW: 150 Years of Photography - Big paperback in like-new condition, about 11 3/4" x 9 1/2" x 1 1/2", with 510 pages and 387 photos, mostly bw or sepia. First Edition, published in 1989 by The Art Institute of Chicago and the National Gallery of Art. Sections written by Joel Snyder, Sarah Greenough, David Travis, Colin Westerbeck, Megan Fox.
PHOTOGRAPHS IN CHICAGO COLLECTIONS, selected to illusrate the history of the art of photography and to inaugurate the new galleries and facilities at the Department of Photography. Big glossy booklet in excellent condition, with 48 pages and 25 bw photos. Published in 1982 by The Art Institute of Chicago. Written by David Travis.
