2 Volumes of Pompeii AD 79 - Catalog for an Art Exhibit in 1978 1979
From the personal library of a museum art curator. These are glossy, colorful, high-quality catalogs for a 1978-79 exhibit described as "Treasures from the National Archaeological Museum in Naples and the Pompeii Antiquarium". It was at The Art Institute of Chicago, Dallas Museum of Fine Arts, American Museum of Natural History and Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Each book is a large paperback about 8 1/4" x 11 1/2" with about 110 pages and more than 300 color and bw plates and diagrams. Excellent condition with minor cover wear.
