I find Media Mail to be the most practical for books.I always recommend insurance on ALL items and will add it to purchases over $20.00. I do not assume any responsibility once the item has been shipped.I pack after the auction so all shipping weights are an ESTIMATE-usually quite accurate but may vary slightly if packed for overseas- or if buyer requests special packing.There is a handling fee of .50 on each bookand 1.00 on all other items.I am not a big business and this fee helps pay for packing supplies which are constantly going up. I will combine shipping if multiple items are purchased.There are no hidden fees and other than the small handling fee per item, you pay what I pay , which I can tell you once you give me your zip code and tell me your shipping preference.For book customers,I will allow customers to accumulate books and have them billed and shipped monthly to save on postage.Once there in "no-payment" on time I will no longer do this for that customer.
