Harbrace Handbook Of English is in very good condition considering its age. There is some wear on the cover plus a stain (maybe water) across the top edge of the pages near the spine plus minor wear elsewhere. The following is from page iii - TO THE INSTRUCTOR - "The Harbrace Handbook is a guide to the correction of student themes and also a text for use in class. It presents well-known subject matter in a more usable form, and thus eases the instructor's task of grading papers."
