The Holt Science and Technology Science Fair Guide has been designed to direct teachers, students, and parents through all phases of a science project. The steps outlines in this guide present logical, detailed sequence of events which can lead to effective science projects.
The guide is organized into three parts: Resources for Teachers, Resources for Students, and Resources for Parents. Each section contains information specific to a teacher, student, or parent.
RESOURCES FOR TEACHERS:This section includes background information and tips about science projects as well as helpful planning devices, such as suggested timelines, safety information, rubics, adn progress reports.
RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS:Resources for Students is written in age-appropriate, motivational language that emphasizes fun and learning rather than competition. This section addresses every step of the process of creating a science project, from how to choose an idea to what to include in a written report. Resources for Students also includes icons that remind the student to perform certain task, such as writing journal entries and checking progress reports.
RESOURCES FOR PARENTS:This section provides teachers with material explaining the process to parents. Resources for Parents contains guidelines that help the parent support the child through each step of preparing his or her science project. It also outlines possible problems the parents may encounter, such as having a child who is daunted by the prospect of such a large project. Resources for parents also encourages parents not to take possession of their child's work.
Each section walks its audience through the five phases of a science project that mirror the scientific method:

It is three hole punched to fit into a notebook.
We do offer combine shipping/handling to our customers for multiple same item orders. For other items it will depend on if these items are being shipped from the same warehouse. Please send payment within seven days of the auction closing. We accept Paypal, money orders, personal checks (with a ten day hold), and cashier's checks from all of our United States customers unless otherwise stated in the ad.
All INTERNATIONAL buyer must pay through Paypal.
Your item(s) will be processed and shipped out in a timely manner. We ship all new items directly from our warehouse USP ground, some items may be shipped DHL, Fedex, or USPS. Delivery time may run between 10 and 12 days depending on where you are in the country. All items ship with delivery confirmation if they are shipping to US addresses.
We ship all used items and some of our new items from our home location in California. They will ship USPS, or Fedex. Items measuring more than 3/4 of an inch will include delivery confirmation. Delivery time can average between 3 to 10 days depending on where you are located in the country.
