This auction is for a superb vintage hardback edition entitled “The Jesus of History,” by T. R. Glover, with a foreword by The Archbishop of Canterbury.
It was published by Student Christian Movement, of London, in 1918.
The contents include:

The book measures 7.5 inches 5.25 inches.
The 247 pages are hand cut to the bottoms, are nice and neat and a little faded with age (heavier near the covers), with foxing near the covers/rims. The binding is very good with no loose or missing pages. Apart from a previous owner’s name at the front, there are no other ink or pencil markings in the book.
The original hardback cover is in good condition for its age, with wear around the spine (splits/frayed), bumps and is a little grubby/faded.
A fascinating vintage edition – the starting price is just ONE PENNY, with NO RESERVE, and I WILL SELL to the highest bidder.
