Here's a small box of hardback books. I'm guilty of grouping these mostly by size then I think by content although most I haven't read. Listed are 1. The Twin Serpents-Ronald Scott Thorn-1965, 2. Surkhan-William LedererEugene Burdick-1965, 3. Raven In Flight-Donald MacKenzie-1976,4. Slowly Slowly in the Wind-Patricia Highsmith-1979 (12 short stories), 5. Intruder from the Sea-Gordon McDonell-1953, 6. Dead Man in the Silver Market-Aubrey Menen-1971 (copyright 1935),7. Forgotten Classics of Mystery Vol 3-Sheridan Le Fann:The Diabolical Genius (3 stories), 8. Caravan to Xanadu-Edison Marshall-1953, 9. Mandrake Root-Frederic Wakeman-1953, 10. The Gift-KIRK DOUGLAS-1992, 11. Dummy-Ernest Tidyman-1974(remember this as good but can't remember if was true or fiction), 12. Azalii-John Skolli-1956, 13. Wine of Satan:Novel of the 1st Crusade-Laverne Gay-1949 and 14. Mrs. Pollifax the Golden Triangle-Dorothy Gilman-1988.
I saw the words suspense and mystery in a couple places. The older books have yellow pages and some of the dust jackets aren't very good. All the books are sound even if old. You might find a mark or two but I didn't find much wrong with these except age. Consider these yardsale books and I haven't removed the pricetags cause they leave sticky spots. Just some good reading.
