This auction is for a superb large size vintage hardback edition entitled “The Three Faces of the Film,” subtitled “The Art, The Dream, The Cult,” by Parker Tyler, lavishly illustrated with FIFTY-SIX wonderful vintage photographic illustrations and movie stills.
It was published by A. S. Barnes and Co., Inc., of New Jersey, in 1967.
This book contains a collection of 18 articles ranging from experimental to Hollywood films.
The contents include:

The book measures 10.25 inches 7.25 inches.
The 141 pages are generally neat (a bumped corner) and a little faded with age. The binding is very good with no loose or missing pages.
There are NO inscriptions and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book.
The original cloth hardback cover is in good condition for its age, with minor wear/bumps and is a little grubby/blemished, having been largely protected by the dust-jacket. The illustrated dust-jacket is good for its age – worn/chipped, is grubby/faded, and has been price-clipped. The gold on the spine of the book is good.
A lavishly illustrated vintage edition – the starting price is just ONE PENNY, with NO RESERVE, and I WILL SELL to the highest bidder.
