A superb original 19th century armorial bookplate engraved for the Crooke family, wonderful hawks and doves shield motif. Terrific period details, about three by four and 1/4 inches, mild creases, light foxing. These early engraved Ex Libris are getting harder and harder to find. Very good condition, light wear and signs of aging, much sharper image than what you can see here. No reserve -- thanks for bidding!!!
