You are bidding for a genuinely rare oddity, a 1937 printing (undated, but dated by the publisher's code) of Beatrix Potter's The Story of Bad Rabbit, published by Frederick Warne and Co. Ltd.
Published as The Story of A Fierce Bad Rabbit, rather than The Tale of A Fierce Bad Rabbit, this variant edition was published in limited numbers as the format was changed before this 1937 edition was published and then again shortly afterwards, so few copies of this smaller edition are still around sixty-five years later.
The book has not been rebound and, as you would expect, has some wear and tear due to the time that has passed since it's publication. There is a pen mark to the front and the spine has been damaged and the strip of the spine is missing though the book still holds intact. There are some marks and knocks and blemishes and some pages are loose, though the book is still held quite securely and is overall acceptable.
