This auction is for a superb edition entitled “First Steps in Winemaking,” subtitled “A Complete Monty-by-Month Guide to Winemaking (Including the Production of Cider, Perry and Mead) in Your Own Home, with Over 150 Tried and Tested Recipes,” by the editor of “The Amateur Winemaker” magazine, C. J. J. Berry, with numerous wonderful vintage photographic illustrations.
It was published by Nexus Special Interests, of Hertfordshire, in 1995.
This fascinating and comprehensive book contains a complete; month-by-month guide to winemaking in your own home, with over 150 tried and tested recipes, including the production of cider, perry and mead.

The book measures 8.25 inches 5.75 inches.
The 235 pages are nice and neat, and a little faded with age, with a grubby mark at the front and to the rims. The binding is very good with no loose or missing pages. There are NO inscriptions and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book. The illustrated cover is in very good condition for a softback of its age, with minor wear and is a little grubby.
A fascinating edition – the starting price is just ONE PENNY, with NO RESERVE, and I WILL SELL to the highest bidder.
