LOT OF 23 RARE AND COLLECTABLE MATT LADYBIRD BOOKS
I am selling my collection of vintage ladybird books this week! This is your chance to grab a set of very nice original books from the 60's and 70's. Most of these books are in absolutley superb condition and some First Editions.
1. BUNNYS FIRST BIRTHDAY - 18P NET. Series 401. Superb condition with no signs of wear inside. cover has 2 minute creases at top and bottom of spine
2. SINGING RHYMES - 30P NET Some general light wear to cover. Superb inside with little sign of wear.
3. LIFE IN NEW TESTAMENT TIMES - 15P NET Series 649 - Some very very light wear to cover. Inside pages are perfect.
4. TEACHING READING - 24P NET (revised price - original price is blacked out by ladybird) Excellent handbook for teachers of the keywords scheme. Some very light general wear to cover. Pages are superb with no signs of age or wear.
5. Mr NOAHS ANIMALS- 50p NET - FIRST EDITION - Cover and Inside pages are superb.
6. JESUS THE FRIEND - NO PRICE ON BACK COVER PRICE ON INSIDE COVER IS 2/6 - VERY EARLY EDITION. Text on back cover states 'there are now over 150 ladybird titles' This amount of titles were available in 1966. SUPERB CONDITION THROUGHOUT.
7. TELLING THE TIME - 18P NET. Superb condition throughout.
8. STORIES OF SPECIAL DAYS AND CUSTOMS - 18P NET. series 644. Beautiful book and in pristine condition.
9. A THIRD LADYBIRD BOOK OF NURSERY RHYMES - 60p NET - Owners name written on inside cover. Condition generally excellent. Some slight wear to cover.
10. WELL LOVED TALES - THE ELVES AND THE SHOEMAKER - 18p NET - Series 606D. Nice early printing of this classic book. Slight creasing to corners of cover, otherwise superb condition.
11. THE STORY OF SAINT PAUL - FIRST EDITION - 2'6 NET. Beautiful vintage Ladybird book. Series 522. Very minor wear to corners of cover. Inside pages are pristine.
12. SNOW WHITE - WELL LOVED TALES 606D - Original price (50p) written on the back cover (very small) in pencil. Again the pages are absolutely superb. Cover has light wear.
13. WHAT TO LOOK FOR OUTSIDE A CHURCH - 18P NET - Series 649. Superb very ner mint condition! Price appears to have been revised twice by ladybird as there are 2 black squares, 1 each side of the price.
14. BABYS YELLOW PICTURE BOOK - 99p NET - FIRST EDITION - Some wear to inside pages (price written of first page in pencil) Staining to 1 page. Overall acceptable.
15. THE MINER - 606B - 2'6 net- price on inside cover has been covered by price sticker from Victory Books Southend on Sea (15p). Beautiful inside pages are in excellent condition. Cover has some wear and a few small stains.
16. THE BUNNEY-FLUFFS MOVING DAY - 18p net series 401. Overall superb condition. Very light wear to edges of cover.
17. RED RIDING HOOD also GOLDILOCKS AND THE 3 BEARS - GILDA LUND - 18p series 413. Beautiful illustrations by J H WINGFIELD. Pages are superb cover has very light general wear.
18. PICTURE READING - Series 721 - 24p NET. Superb condition! Slight creases to spine top and bottom otherwise fantastic!
19. SECOND BOOK OF NURSERY RHYMES - Series 413 - 18P NET - Inside pages are superb. cover has general light wear,
20. OLIVER CROMWELL - 40P NET - Excellent condition interiors, cover has some general wear and stain on back.
21. FRANCIS DRAKE - 40p NET - Some wear to cover (and a crayon mark on front). Interiors are superb.
22. JAMES 1 - NO PRICE - Some general wear and a stain on cover - Interiors are superb.
23. NAPOLEON - 40P NET - Light general wear to cover - Superb condition interior.
